La compa\u00f1\u00eda Oracle ha publicado las versiones del sistema operativo Oracle Linux 9.2 y 8.8, basadas en los paquetes de Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.2 y 8.8, respectivamente, completamente compatibles a nivel binario con ellos. Se ofrecen im\u00e1genes ISO de instalaci\u00f3n, sin restricciones, de 9.8 GB y 880 MB, preparadas para las arquitecturas x86_64 y ARM64 (aarch64). Oracle Linux proporciona acceso ilimitado y gratuito al repositorio yum con actualizaciones de paquetes que corrigen errores (erratas) y problemas de seguridad. Tambi\u00e9n se han preparado repositorios de soporte separados con conjuntos de paquetes Application Stream y CodeReady Builder para su descarga. <\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s de los paquetes del kernel que forman parte de RHEL (basados en el kernel 4.18 y 5.14), Oracle Linux ofrece su propio kernel Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel 7 Update 1 (UEK R7U1), basado en el kernel Linux 5.15 y optimizado para trabajar con software y hardware industrial de Oracle. Los c\u00f3digos fuente del kernel, incluidos los parches individuales, est\u00e1n disponibles en el repositorio p\u00fablico de Git de Oracle.
