Se ha lanzado el conjunto de aplicaciones web SeaMonkey 2.53.17, que re\u00fane en un solo producto un navegador web, un cliente de correo, un sistema de agregaci\u00f3n de fuentes de noticias (RSS\/Atom) y un editor WYSIWYG de p\u00e1ginas HTML llamado Composer. Se ofrecen como complementos preinstalados el cliente IRC Chatzilla, un conjunto de herramientas para desarrolladores web DOM Inspector y el calendario-planificador Lightning. En este nuevo lanzamiento se han trasladado correcciones y cambios de la base de c\u00f3digo actual de Firefox (SeaMonkey 2.53 se basa en el motor del navegador Firefox 60.8 con la portaci\u00f3n de las correcciones de seguridad relacionadas y algunas mejoras de las ramas actuales de Firefox). <\/p>\n

En la nueva versi\u00f3n se han solucionado errores acumulados. Se han eliminado las clases obsoletas nsIPrefBranch2 y nsIPrefBranchInternal, que causaban problemas de compatibilidad con complementos. En el cliente de correo se han desactivado las advertencias de spam para los enlaces autom\u00e1ticamente insertados en los mensajes de texto. Los scripts de construcci\u00f3n se han trasladado al uso de Python 3. <\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, se puede mencionar el lanzamiento de Tor Browser 12.5.2, enfocado en garantizar la anonimidad, la seguridad y la privacidad. Este lanzamiento est\u00e1 sincronizado con la base de c\u00f3digo de Firefox 102.14.0 ESR, en la que se han corregido 13 vulnerabilidades. Se ha actualizado la versi\u00f3n del complemento NoScript a 11.4.26 y se ha renovado el toolkit de construcci\u00f3n a Go 1.20.6.
