El soporte se llevar\u00e1 a cabo bajo el programa SLTS (Super Long Term Support), que, a diferencia de las versiones LTS (Long Term Support), implica un ciclo de soporte m\u00e1s prolongado, orientado a la aplicaci\u00f3n del n\u00facleo en sistemas t\u00e9cnicos de infraestructura civil y en sistemas industriales cr\u00edticos. Las actualizaciones para la rama Linux 6.1 se emitir\u00e1n durante al menos 10 a\u00f1os, durante los cuales se incorporar\u00e1n al n\u00facleo no solo correcciones que afectan la fiabilidad y la seguridad, sino tambi\u00e9n mejoras de ramas m\u00e1s nuevas para dar soporte a nuevo hardware. Anteriormente, este ciclo de soporte extendido se aplic\u00f3 a los n\u00facleos 4.4, 4.19 y 5.10.    <\/p>\n<p>Para el seguimiento de actualizaciones en la rama SLTS 6.1, se ha propuesto el repositorio git linux-cip. El mantenimiento de la rama SLTS estar\u00e1 a cargo del proyecto Civil Infrastructure Platform (CIP), que opera bajo el patrocinio de Linux Foundation y se desarrolla con la participaci\u00f3n de empresas como Toshiba, Siemens, Renesas, Bosch, Hitachi y MOXA. Adem\u00e1s de los representantes de las empresas mencionadas, los mantenedores de las ramas LTS del n\u00facleo principal, los desarrolladores de Debian y los creadores del proyecto KernelCI tambi\u00e9n estar\u00e1n involucrados en el mantenimiento del n\u00facleo SLTS.     <\/p>\n<p>Lista de ramas LTS, mantenidas por los desarrolladores del n\u00facleo Linux:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li
