Para los sistemas de servidores (Ubuntu Server), el nuevo n\u00facleo se ha a\u00f1adido como opci\u00f3n en el instalador. Usar las nuevas versiones solo tiene sentido para nuevas instalaciones; los sistemas instalados anteriormente pueden obtener todos los cambios presentes en Ubuntu 22.04.4 a trav\u00e9s del sistema habitual de instalaci\u00f3n de actualizaciones.        <\/p>\n<p>Recordemos que la entrega de nuevas versiones del kernel y la pila gr\u00e1fica sigue un modelo de apoyo rolling, seg\u00fan el cual los kernels y los controladores importados solo se apoyar\u00e1n hasta el pr\u00f3ximo lanzamiento de correcci\u00f3n de la rama LTS de Ubuntu. As\u00ed, el kernel de Linux 6.5 propuesto en esta versi\u00f3n se apoyar\u00e1 hasta la llegada de Ubuntu 22.04.5, que ofrecer\u00e1 el kernel de la versi\u00f3n Ubuntu 24.04. El kernel base 5.15 que se entrega originalmente se apoyar\u00e1 durante todo el ciclo de cinco a\u00f1os de mantenimiento.          <\/p>\n<p>Para retroceder a Ubuntu Desktop con el kernel base 5.15,
