Este dispositivo se conecta a los puertos HDMI y USB del servidor o estaci\u00f3n de trabajo, y permite gestionarlos de forma remota a trav\u00e9s de la red, sin importar el sistema operativo. Se puede encender y apagar el host, configurar la BIOS e incluso reinstalar completamente el sistema operativo utilizando un emulador de CD-ROM o una unidad flash. Toda la funcionalidad est\u00e1 disponible a trav\u00e9s de una interfaz web que no requiere plugins ni applets adicionales, y se implementa \u00fanicamente con HTML5.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lista de los cambios m\u00e1s importantes<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>El modo de transmisi\u00f3n de video a trav\u00e9s de WebRTC\/H.264 ha experimentado un aumento significativo en el rendimiento y ahora se utiliza por defecto. Para 1080p, la latencia es de aproximadamente 150 ms a 30 fps estables. El modo MJPEG, que sigue disponible como respaldo, tambi\u00e9n ha sido altamente optimizado.<\/li>\n<li>Se ha a\u00f1adido la posibilidad de copiar texto de la pantalla mediante reconocimiento de im\u00e1genes.<\/li>\n<li>Se ha incorporado la autenticaci\u00f3n de dos factores basada en TOTP.<\/li>\n<li>El emulador de unidades flash virtuales ahora admite el modo de escritura en las im\u00e1genes desde el lado del host. Se ha a\u00f1adido soporte para NFS para organizar un almacenamiento centralizado de im\u00e1genes de sistemas.<\/li>\n<li>Se ha a\u00f1adido la utilidad <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.pikvm.org\/edid\">para configurar EDID<\/a>, facilitando la afinaci\u00f3n de los par\u00e1metros principales del emulador de pantalla (resoluciones y audio).<\/li>\n<li>Se ha a\u00f1adido una capacidad experimental <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.pikvm.org\/usb_dynamic\">de configuraci\u00f3n din\u00e1mica del emulador USB<\/a>, que permite encender y apagar dispositivos como teclados, ratones, redes USB y otros.<\/li>\n<li>Las instrucciones paso a paso para las configuraciones DIY han sido completamente reescritas y mejoradas: <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.pikvm.org\/v1\">para Raspberry Pi 2-3<\/a> y <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.pikvm.org\/v2\">Pi 4<\/a>. El soporte para Raspberry Pi 5 no est\u00e1 planeado por el momento debido a la falta de codificadores de video de hardware.<\/li>\n<li>Se ha presentado un nuevo emulador HID basado en <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.pikvm.org\/pico_hid\/\">Raspberry Pico<\/a> para reemplazar el obsoleto de Arduino. Adem\u00e1s de USB, ahora se admite el teclado y rat\u00f3n PS\/2.<\/li>\n<li>Se han a\u00f1adido nuevos m\u00f3dulos GPIO para integrarse con los switches, permitiendo implementar un KVM de m\u00faltiples puertos sobre IP.<\/li>\n<li>Los parches de PiKVM que mejoran el funcionamiento de los dispositivos HID virtuales y de almacenamiento masivo han sido aceptados en el n\u00facleo de Linux.
