En las actualizaciones correctivas de la plataforma GitHub Enterprise Server 3.12.4, 3.11.10, 3.10.12 y 3.9.15, dise\u00f1ada para desplegar en hardware propio un entorno aislado para el desarrollo colaborativo basado en tecnolog\u00edas de GitHub, se ha identificado una vulnerabilidad (CVE-2024-4985) que permite obtener acceso con privilegios de administrador sin pasar por la autenticaci\u00f3n. El problema se manifiesta \u00fanicamente en configuraciones con un \u00fanico punto de entrada basado en la tecnolog\u00eda SAML, en las que se incluye la encriptaci\u00f3n de mensajes por parte de proveedores de identidad ( \u00abencrypted assertions\u00bb ). Por defecto, este modo est\u00e1 desactivado, pero se presenta como una opci\u00f3n adicional para mejorar la seguridad, que se puede activar en la configuraci\u00f3n \u00abSettings\/Authentication\/Require encrypted assertions\u00bb. <\/p>\n

A la vulnerabilidad se le ha asignado un nivel cr\u00edtico de peligro (10 de 10). No se requiere tener una cuenta para llevar a cabo un ataque.
