Tambi\u00e9n se ha anunciado el inicio de la creaci\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes del sistema QNX 8.0 para las placas Raspberry Pi 4 y 5. Al comentar sobre la cuesti\u00f3n del regreso del proyecto QNX a la publicaci\u00f3n de c\u00f3digos fuente, el gerente encargado de la relaci\u00f3n con los desarrolladores destac\u00f3 que la empresa avanza hacia una mayor apertura y transparencia, pero no puede decir nada sobre los plazos de tales cambios por ahora.     <\/p>\n<p>En 2007 se lanz\u00f3 una iniciativa para abrir los c\u00f3digos fuente de QNX bajo una licencia que permit\u00eda modificaciones. Se public\u00f3 en acceso abierto el c\u00f3digo del microkernel QNX Neutrino, sistemas de archivos, biblioteca del sistema, controladores, microGUI, pila de red y utilidades incluidas en el paquete. En 2010 la empresa QNX Software Systems fue adquirida por Research In Motion (RIM), propietaria de la marca BlackBerry, despu\u00e9s de lo cual se detuvo la publicaci\u00f3n del c\u00f3digo. Actualmente, las iniciativas abiertas de QNX se limitan a un repositorio en GitLab, que re\u00fane puertos de aplicaciones de c\u00f3digo abierto para QNX, frameworks, componentes para el hipervisor
