Se ha publicado la versi\u00f3n del instalador Archinstall 3.0, que desde abril de 2021 se incluye como opci\u00f3n en las im\u00e1genes ISO de instalaci\u00f3n de Arch Linux. Archinstall funciona en modo consola y puede utilizarse en lugar del modo de instalaci\u00f3n manual que se ofrece por defecto. El c\u00f3digo de Archinstall est\u00e1 escrito en Python y se distribuye bajo la licencia GPLv3. <\/p>\n

Archinstall ofrece modos de trabajo guiado y automatizado. En el modo automatizado, se puede utilizar scripts para implementar configuraciones est\u00e1ndar. El instalador tambi\u00e9n soporta perfiles de instalaci\u00f3n, como el perfil «desktop» para elegir el entorno de escritorio (KDE, GNOME, Awesome) y para instalar los paquetes necesarios, o los perfiles «webserver» y «database» para seleccionar e instalar los componentes de los servidores web y bases de datos. En la nueva versi\u00f3n de Archinstall, se ha redise\u00f1ado completamente la interfaz de usuario de la consola, que ahora utiliza la biblioteca Curses. El uso de Curses ha permitido mejorar la apariencia, aumentar la facilidad de uso y realizar una disposici\u00f3n m\u00e1s compleja de los elementos de la interfaz, donde ahora hay un \u00e1rea de pantalla separada con un men\u00fa visible en todo momento. Adem\u00e1s, se ha trabajado en mejorar la calidad del c\u00f3digo y expandir la cobertura en las pruebas.
