La compa\u00f1\u00eda Oracle ha presentado la versi\u00f3n preliminar de la distribuci\u00f3n Oracle Linux 10, creada sobre la base de paquetes de Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 y totalmente compatible a nivel binario con ella. Se ofrece una imagen ISO de instalaci\u00f3n sin restricciones, preparada para las arquitecturas x86_64 y ARM64 (aarch64). Para Oracle Linux 10 se ha habilitado un acceso ilimitado y gratuito al repositorio yum con actualizaciones binarias de paquetes que corrigen errores (errata) y problemas de seguridad. Adem\u00e1s, se han preparado repositorios con conjuntos de paquetes Application Stream y CodeReady Builder, as\u00ed como un repositorio con n\u00facleos UEK-next. <\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s del paquete con el n\u00facleo de RHEL (basado en el n\u00facleo 6.11), Oracle Linux ofrece su propio n\u00facleo Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel Next (UEK-Next), basado en el n\u00facleo Linux 6.12 y optimizado para trabajar con el software y hardware de Oracle. El c\u00f3digo fuente del n\u00facleo, incluyendo la separaci\u00f3n en parches individuales, est\u00e1 disponible en el repositorio Git p\u00fablico de Oracle.
