Despu\u00e9s de dos a\u00f1os y medio desde la publicaci\u00f3n de la versi\u00f3n 6.4, se ha formado el lanzamiento del sistema operativo DragonFly BSD 6.4.1, creado en 2003 con el objetivo de desarrollar una alternativa a la rama FreeBSD 4.x. Entre las caracter\u00edsticas de DragonFly BSD se destacan el sistema de archivos distribuido y versionado HAMMER, el soporte para el arranque de n\u00facleos \"virtuales\" del sistema como procesos de usuario, la posibilidad de almacenar en cach\u00e9 datos y metadatos del sistema de archivos en discos SSD, la consideraci\u00f3n del contexto en los enlaces simb\u00f3licos variantes, la capacidad de congelar procesos manteniendo su estado en el disco, y un n\u00facleo h\u00edbrido que utiliza hilos ligeros (LWKT). <\/p>\n

La versi\u00f3n DragonFly BSD 6.4.1 es una correcci\u00f3n y solo elimina algunos errores acumulados. Por ejemplo, se ha corregido un problema en el gestor de paquetes pkg, que eliminaba archivos de configuraci\u00f3n df-latetest.conf durante las actualizaciones.
