Despu\u00e9s de un a\u00f1o de desarrollo, la empresa SUSE ha lanzado la versi\u00f3n del sistema operativo SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 SP7. Sobre la plataforma SUSE Linux Enterprise se han formado productos como SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop, SUSE Linux Enterprise High Performance Computing y SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability Extension. El sistema se puede descargar y utilizar de manera gratuita, pero el acceso a actualizaciones y parches est\u00e1 limitado a un per\u00edodo de prueba de 60 d\u00edas. La versi\u00f3n est\u00e1 disponible en compilaciones para arquitecturas aarch64, ppc64le, s390x y x86_64. Este lanzamiento ser\u00e1 soportado hasta junio de 2031, sin contar los programas de soporte extendido LTSS y LTSS Core, que estar\u00e1n vigentes hasta 2034 y 2037 respectivamente. <\/p>\n
A diferencia de lanzamientos anteriores, no se planea formar la versi\u00f3n de openSUSE Leap 15.7 basada en SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 SP7. La versi\u00f3n openSUSE Leap 15.6 ser\u00e1 reemplazada por openSUSE Leap 16.0, cuyo lanzamiento se espera en oto\u00f1o. openSUSE Leap 16 se basa en las tecnolog\u00edas de la rama en desarrollo de SUSE Linux Enterprise 16, pero mantiene las caracter\u00edsticas del cl\u00e1sico sistema operativo que utiliza paquetes tradicionales.
