Se ha lanzado la versi\u00f3n del sistema operativo especializado Tails 6.17 (The Amnesic Incognito Live System), desarrollado como parte del proyecto Tor. Este sistema operativo se basa en Debian 12, se entrega con el escritorio GNOME 43 y est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para salir a la red de forma an\u00f3nima utilizando las herramientas de Tor. Todas las conexiones, excepto el tr\u00e1fico a trav\u00e9s de la red Tor, son bloqueadas por defecto por un filtro de paquetes. Para almacenar datos de usuario en modo de persistencia entre arranques, se utiliza cifrado. Se ha preparado una imagen iso que puede funcionar en modo Live, con un tama\u00f1o de 1 GB. <\/p>\n

En la nueva versi\u00f3n se han actualizado Tor Browser 14.5.4 y el complemento uBlock Origin 1.62.0. El tama\u00f1o de la imagen de arranque se ha reducido al eliminar el microc\u00f3digo duplicado del CPU. En el di\u00e1logo de solicitud de contrase\u00f1a en la p\u00e1gina de bloqueo de pantalla, se ha implementado una opci\u00f3n para mostrar la contrase\u00f1a ingresada.
