El objetivo del proyecto es permitir la ejecuci\u00f3n de aplicaciones CUDA no modificadas en sistemas con GPU que no sean NVIDIA, con un rendimiento cercano al de las aplicaciones que se ejecutan sin capas intermedias. El c\u00f3digo del proyecto est\u00e1 escrito en Rust y se distribuye bajo las licencias MIT y Apache 2.0.       <\/p>\n<p>ZLUDA 5 se convirti\u00f3 en la segunda versi\u00f3n significativa del proyecto, formada tras la limpieza de la base de c\u00f3digo de los desarrollos realizados durante el tiempo de Andrzej en AMD. Desde 2022, Andrzej trabaj\u00f3 en AMD para crear una capa de compatibilidad para GPUs AMD con CUDA, pero en 2024 el proyecto fue cerrado. De acuerdo con los t\u00e9rminos del contrato y tras recibir el permiso para publicar de un representante de AMD, Andrzej abri\u00f3 el c\u00f3digo de los trabajos realizados durante su tiempo en AMD que permit\u00edan ejecutar aplicaciones CUDA sobre la pila ROCm y el runtime HIP (Interfaz de computaci\u00f3n heterog\u00e9nea para portabilidad).     <\/p>\n<p>El a\u00f1o pasado, Andrzej se vio obligado a retirar el c\u00f3digo del acceso p\u00fablico tras recibir una carta de abogados que dejaron claro que el permiso otorgado en la correspondencia por correo electr\u00f3nico no ten\u00eda fuerza legal. Despu\u00e9s de eso, Andrzej comenz\u00f3 a trabajar en una nueva edici\u00f3n de ZLUDA, basada en la base de c\u00f3digo que exist\u00eda antes de que Andrzej comenzara en AMD. En su versi\u00f3n actual, el desarrollo se centra en la ejecuci\u00f3n de aplicaciones que utilizan CUDA para acelerar tareas relacionadas con el aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico. El proyecto actualmente est\u00e1 limitado al funcionamiento en GPUs AMD, pero se adaptar\u00e1 m\u00e1s adelante para GPUs Intel.       <\/p>\n<p>Principales mejoras en la nueva versi\u00f3n:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Se ha agregado soporte inicial para la ejecuci\u00f3n en ZLUDA de los frameworks llm.c, Llama.cpp y PyTorch para la ejecuci\u00f3n de modelos de lenguaje grandes utilizando optimizaciones CUDA aplicadas a GPUs NVIDIA.\n<li class=\"l\"> Se ha implementado soporte inicial para la ejecuci\u00f3n de aplicaciones que utilizan las bibliotecas cuBLAS, cuBLASLt y nvml para mejorar el rendimiento.\n<li class=\"l\"> Se ha a\u00f1adido la capa zluda_trace para la trazabilidad de aplicaciones que utilizan CUDA. Con zluda_trace, es posible diagnosticar problemas y detectar deficiencias en ZLUDA que impiden la correcta ejecuci\u00f3n de la aplicaci\u00f3n.\n<li class=\"l\"> Se ha presentado la utilidad de l\u00ednea de comandos zoc (compilador offline ZLUDA), que permite compilar archivos con instrucciones NVIDIA PTX en una representaci\u00f3n intermedia AMD RDNA (anteriormente, esta funcionalidad estaba disponible en forma de funciones de biblioteca).\n<li class=\"l\"> En el cargador de m\u00f3dulos PTX se ha implementado un mecanismo de cach\u00e9 para los n\u00facleos que se ejecutan en la GPU.
