Se han publicado actualizaciones correctivas para las versiones soportadas del servidor de correo Postfix 3.x \u2014 3.10.7, 3.9.8, 3.8.14 y 3.7.19. En las nuevas versiones se ha solucionado un problema con la compilaci\u00f3n a partir del c\u00f3digo fuente, que surg\u00eda en las nuevas versiones de distribuciones de Linux que han migrado al conjunto de compiladores GCC 15, que por defecto ha sido adaptado para utilizar el est\u00e1ndar C23. <\/p>\n

El problema radica en que el est\u00e1ndar C23 define una nueva palabra clave reservada \u00abbool\u00bb, que se asigna a un tipo de tama\u00f1o 1 byte. En el c\u00f3digo de Postfix se define un tipo propio \u00abbool\u00bb, asignado al tipo \u00abint\u00bb, que tiene un tama\u00f1o de 4 bytes. Intentar compilar Postfix con un compilador en modo C23 resulta en un error debido a la redefinici\u00f3n del tipo \u00abbool\u00bb. En la rama en desarrollo de Postfix 3.11 se ha implementado el soporte para el nuevo tipo \u00abbool\u00bb. Dado que el cambio relacionado con el soporte del nuevo tipo \u00abbool\u00bb abarca muchas l\u00edneas de c\u00f3digo, se ha decidido no trasladarlo a las ramas estables, sino a\u00f1adir al invocar gcc y clang la bandera de compilaci\u00f3n \u00ab-std=gnu17\u00bb para utilizar el est\u00e1ndar C17.
