GotaTun integra soporte para la tecnolog\u00eda DAITA (Defensa contra el An\u00e1lisis de Tr\u00e1fico Guiado por IA) para proteger contra el an\u00e1lisis del tr\u00e1fico de tr\u00e1nsito cifrado, realizado utilizando herramientas basadas en sistemas de aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico. DAITA normaliza el tama\u00f1o de los paquetes enviados, mezcla tr\u00e1fico de fondo aleatorio y distorsiona los patrones de flujos de datos t\u00edpicos. GotaTun tambi\u00e9n implementa un modo Multihop, que permite acceder a VPN<\/a>-servidores no directamente, sino a trav\u00e9s de una serie de nodos de tr\u00e1nsito, lo que, por ejemplo, permite dirigir el tr\u00e1fico por rutas m\u00e1s \u00f3ptimas. <\/p>\n

Anteriormente, en las aplicaciones de la empresa Mullvad se utilizaba un fork de la implementaci\u00f3n de WireGuard en Go \u2014 wireguard-go, ampliado con soporte para DAITA y Multihop. Seg\u00fan estad\u00edsticas de Google, el 85% de todos los informes de fallos enviados por los usuarios del cliente de Android de Mullvad estaban relacionados con el c\u00f3digo de wireguard-go, por lo que la empresa Mullvad decidi\u00f3 reemplazar la implementaci\u00f3n de WireGuard por una alternativa m\u00e1s confiable. <\/p>\n
