En el proyecto RustFS, que desarrolla un almacenamiento de objetos distribuido compatible con S3, escrito en el lenguaje Rust, se ha identificado una vulnerabilidad (CVE-2025-68926) que se asemeja a una puerta trasera. El problema se debe a la presencia de un token de acceso hardcodeado en el c\u00f3digo, que permite conectarse a un servicio en red utilizando el protocolo gRPC, especificando en el encabezado \u00abauthorization\u00bb el valor \u00abrustfs rpc\u00bb. El token estaba presente en el c\u00f3digo del servidor y del cliente. Esta vulnerabilidad ha sido clasificada con un nivel cr\u00edtico de gravedad (9.8 de 10). <\/p>\n

Un atacante con acceso al puerto de la red gRPC podr\u00eda usar el token mencionado para realizar operaciones privilegiadas en el almacenamiento, incluidas la eliminaci\u00f3n de datos, manipulaciones con las credenciales de los usuarios y cambios en la configuraci\u00f3n del cl\u00faster. Por defecto, RustFS acepta solicitudes gRPC en el puerto TCP 9000 en todas las interfaces de red.
