Richard Henderson, uno de los mantenedores del proyecto QEMU y segundo en el n\u00famero de cambios realizados, ha publicado un conjunto de parches que eliminan el soporte para sistemas host de 32 bits en QEMU. El soporte para entornos host de 32 bits fue declarado obsoleto en abril del a\u00f1o pasado en QEMU 10.0, y en la versi\u00f3n de diciembre 10.2 se elimin\u00f3 el soporte para las plataformas mips32 y ppc32 del generador de c\u00f3digo TCG (Tiny Code Generator). <\/p>\n

A menos que surjan problemas imprevistos, en la versi\u00f3n QEMU 11.0, programada para mediados de primavera, se planea eliminar el soporte para las restantes plataformas i386, arm, ppc y riscv32 del TCG, as\u00ed como limpiar la base de c\u00f3digo y el sistema de construcci\u00f3n de componentes para funcionar en hosts de 32 bits.
