Se han presentado las actualizaciones de firmware de Ubuntu Touch 24.04-1.2 y 20.04 OTA-12, basadas en los paquetes de Ubuntu 24.04 y Ubuntu 20.04. El desarrollo de estos firmware es llevado a cabo por el proyecto UBports, que ha asumido el desarrollo de la plataforma m\u00f3vil Ubuntu Touch despu\u00e9s de que Canonical se alejara de ella. El proyecto tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 desarrollando un puerto experimental del escritorio Unity 8, que ha sido renombrado a Lomiri. <\/p>\n

Entre los cambios en Ubuntu Touch 24.04-1.2: se ha mejorado la estabilidad al utilizar VoLTE (Voz sobre LTE), la tecnolog\u00eda de transmisi\u00f3n de voz a trav\u00e9s de redes LTE. Se han solucionado problemas de arranque en dispositivos Sony Xperia X, de cambio de operadores para la transmisi\u00f3n de datos en smartphones con dos tarjetas SIM y de recepci\u00f3n de mensajes de difusi\u00f3n de redes m\u00f3viles.
