Por lo tanto, le gustar\u00eda traspasar la gesti\u00f3n del proyecto a desarrolladores que tengan el tiempo y la energ\u00eda para trabajar en Ubuntu MATE.        <\/p>\n<p>Ubuntu MATE sigue estando en la rama MATE 1.26, formada en 2021, y presenta problemas no resueltos y una falta de desarrolladores. Se ha decidido no otorgar el estatus LTS a la versi\u00f3n Ubuntu MATE 26.04, y la publicaci\u00f3n del lanzamiento est\u00e1 en duda \u2014 a pesar de que ha comenzado la beta de Ubuntu 26.10, las versiones beta de Ubuntu MATE 26.04 a\u00fan no se han creado.
