El Comit\u00e9 que supervisa el desarrollo del conjunto de compiladores GCC (GCC Steering Committee) ha aprobado la inclusi\u00f3n en la base de c\u00f3digo de GCC del backend para WebAssembly. La decisi\u00f3n se refiere a la aprobaci\u00f3n general de la entrega del backend de WebAssembly como parte de GCC. El equipo encargado de la revisi\u00f3n tomar\u00e1 decisiones separadas sobre la aprobaci\u00f3n de la implementaci\u00f3n y la aceptaci\u00f3n del c\u00f3digo entregado.<\/p>\n

El backend permitir\u00e1 utilizar GCC para compilar c\u00f3digo fuente en los lenguajes C\/C++ a c\u00f3digo intermedio de WebAssembly. La compilaci\u00f3n a WebAssembly se puede usar para integrarse con proyectos de JavaScript, ejecutarse en navegadores web, utilizarse en Node.js o crear aplicaciones multiplataforma aisladas, que se ejecutan mediante un runtime de WASM.
