El proyecto B1ackOS GNU\/Linux desarrolla una distribuci\u00f3n basada en Debian Sid (Inestable) que utiliza un modelo de publicaci\u00f3n continua de actualizaciones (Rolling). Se utiliza systemd como sistema de inicializaci\u00f3n y la gesti\u00f3n de paquetes se realiza a trav\u00e9s de APT. El proyecto cuenta con su propio repositorio de paquetes. Como instalador en la versi\u00f3n de consola se emplea el Debian Installer, mientras que en las ediciones gr\u00e1ficas se utiliza Calamares. Se soportan las arquitecturas amd64, i386 y arm64. <\/p>\n

De forma predeterminada, B1ackOS se entrega en una configuraci\u00f3n m\u00ednima, similar a Arch Linux: tras la instalaci\u00f3n, el usuario recibe un sistema pr\u00e1cticamente vac\u00edo con el shell Fish, que se puede personalizar y crear un entorno de trabajo que cumpla con tareas espec\u00edficas. <\/p>\n

Para los usuarios que necesitan un entorno de trabajo listo inmediatamente despu\u00e9s de la instalaci\u00f3n, se ofrece una versi\u00f3n con el escritorio Cinnamon y un conjunto preinstalado de aplicaciones (navegador Chromium, suite de oficina ONLYOFFICE, editor gr\u00e1fico Krita, reproductor de video Clapper y tienda de aplicaciones MintInstall). Adem\u00e1s de Cinnamon, se pueden instalar desde el repositorio KDE Plasma, GNOME, Xfce y MATE.
