El c\u00f3digo del proyecto se distribuye bajo la licencia GPLv2. En la nueva versi\u00f3n se han corregido 9 vulnerabilidades que pueden llevar a la ejecuci\u00f3n de c\u00f3digo con privilegios de root al procesar particiones espec\u00edficamente dise\u00f1adas o im\u00e1genes de disco con sistema de archivos NTFS.     <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-46569 \u2014 desbordamiento de b\u00fafer en la funci\u00f3n ntfs_ib_copy_tail(), causado por la falta de verificaci\u00f3n de un rango de valores permitido. Esta vulnerabilidad puede permitir la ejecuci\u00f3n de c\u00f3digo con privilegios de root mediante la creaci\u00f3n de un archivo en un directorio especialmente dise\u00f1ado despu\u00e9s de montar una imagen NTFS modificada por un atacante.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-42617 \u2014 desbordamiento de b\u00fafer en la funci\u00f3n ntfs_ir_to_ib(), que puede permitir la ejecuci\u00f3n de c\u00f3digo con privilegios de root mediante la creaci\u00f3n de un archivo en un directorio tras montar una imagen NTFS especialmente modificada.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-42618 \u2014 desbordamiento de b\u00fafer en la funci\u00f3n ntfs_decompress(), que puede permitir la ejecuci\u00f3n de c\u00f3digo con privilegios de root al leer un archivo especialmente dise\u00f1ado tras montar una imagen NTFS modificada por un atacante.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-46570 \u2014 desbordamiento de b\u00fafer en la funci\u00f3n ntfs_index_walk_down(), que puede permitir la ejecuci\u00f3n de c\u00f3digo con privilegios de root al acceder a los metadatos de un archivo tras montar una imagen NTFS especialmente dise\u00f1ada.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-46572 \u2014 desbordamiento de b\u00fafer en la funci\u00f3n ntfs_ib_cut_tail(), que puede permitir la ejecuci\u00f3n de c\u00f3digo con privilegios de root al crear un archivo en un directorio tras montar una imagen NTFS modificada con un \u00edndice da\u00f1ado.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-56135 \u2014 desbordamiento de b\u00fafer en la funci\u00f3n build_inherited_id(), que puede permitir la ejecuci\u00f3n de c\u00f3digo con privilegios de root al crear un archivo tras montar una imagen NTFS especialmente dise\u00f1ada con metadatos ACL incorrectos en el directorio.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-42616 \u2014 desbordamiento de b\u00fafer en la utilidad ntfscat, que potencialmente puede permitir la ejecuci\u00f3n de c\u00f3digo al leer im\u00e1genes NTFS dise\u00f1adas espec\u00edficamente.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2026-46571, CVE-2026-56136 \u2014 lectura desde un \u00e1rea fuera del b\u00fafer asignado al analizar enlaces simb\u00f3licos y manipular archivos tras montar una imagen NTFS modificada por un atacante.
