Por defecto, GhostBSD utiliza el sistema de archivos ZFS. Se admite tanto el funcionamiento en modo Live como la instalaci\u00f3n en un disco duro (se utiliza el instalador propio ginstall, escrito en Python). Las im\u00e1genes de arranque se han formado para la arquitectura x86_64.<\/p>\n<p>En la nueva versi\u00f3n:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Se ha implementado un nuevo instalador. El proceso de instalaci\u00f3n se divide en dos etapas: Install Station para la instalaci\u00f3n de componentes del sistema en el medio y Setup Station para la configuraci\u00f3n y creaci\u00f3n de usuarios en el primer arranque del nuevo sistema. Se han a\u00f1adido nuevas p\u00e1ginas para la configuraci\u00f3n de ZFS y la red. Se ha implementado el soporte para cifrado de disco completo usando herramientas GELI.\n<li class=\"l\"> Se ha realizado la transici\u00f3n a FreeBSD 15.1 (anteriormente la distribuci\u00f3n se basaba en FreeBSD 15.0).\n<li class=\"l\"> Por defecto, el men\u00fa de arranque est\u00e1 oculto, apareciendo ahora tras presionar cualquier tecla. Se ha a\u00f1adido una opci\u00f3n en el men\u00fa de arranque para habilitar la visualizaci\u00f3n del registro de arranque.\n<li class=\"l\"> La aplicaci\u00f3n Backup Station ha sido renombrada a BE Station y se puede utilizar para crear entornos de arranque.\n<li class=\"l\"> En la aplicaci\u00f3n Update Station se ha implementado la instalaci\u00f3n de actualizaciones en el entorno de arranque.\n<li class=\"l\"> En NetworkMgr, para gestionar Wi-Fi se ha utilizado la utilidad wpa_cli y se asegura que los par\u00e1metros de la red inal\u00e1mbrica se guardan solo despu\u00e9s de una conexi\u00f3n exitosa.\n<li class=\"l\"> En el gestor de aplicaciones Software Station se ha a\u00f1adido soporte para b\u00fasquedas sin distinci\u00f3n entre may\u00fasculas y min\u00fasculas.\n<li class=\"l\"> Se ha reducido el tama\u00f1o de la imagen iso mediante la eliminaci\u00f3n de paquetes obsoletos y de servidor del sistema base: audit, autofs, bsnmp, hast, inetd, kerberos, nuageinit, quotacheck, rdma, librpcsec_gss, yp, cxgbe-tools, mlx-tools, librss, netmap, apm, at, ftp, ppp, natd, rcmds, ccdconfig, libvgl, ipf, pf, ctf, dtrace, dwatch, lldb, lib9p, libvmmapi, lib32: bluetooth, bsnmp, libcuse, librss, libvgl, natd, netmap, librpcsec_gss, lib9p, zfs.\n<li class=\"l\"> Se ha a\u00f1adido la combinaci\u00f3n de teclas Ctrl+Alt+T para abrir la terminal en MATE.\n<li class=\"l\"> A trav\u00e9s del proceso en segundo plano usbhid se ha implementado el soporte para dispositivos de entrada con interfaz USB.\n<\/ul>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\"
