Seg\u00fan fuentes en l\u00ednea, la semana pasada miles de documentos con informaci\u00f3n confidencial pertenecientes a la embajada de M\u00e9xico en Guatemala se hicieron p\u00fablicos. En total, se robaron m\u00e1s de 4800 documentos importantes relacionados con las actividades de los diplom\u00e1ticos, as\u00ed como datos personales de ciudadanos mexicanos.<\/p>\n

Detr\u00e1s del robo de los documentos se encuentra un hacker identificado en Twitter como @0x55Taylor. Decidi\u00f3 publicar los documentos robados en Internet despu\u00e9s de que todos sus intentos de contactar a la embajada de M\u00e9xico fueron ignorados por los diplom\u00e1ticos. Finalmente, los archivos fueron retirados del acceso p\u00fablico por el propietario del almacenamiento en la nube al que los hab\u00eda colocado el hacker. Sin embargo, los especialistas lograron revisar algunos documentos y confirmaron su autenticidad.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n se sabe que el hacker logr\u00f3 apoderarse de datos confidenciales al descubrir una vulnerabilidad en la seguridad servidores<\/a>, donde estaban almacenados. Tras descargar los archivos, descubri\u00f3, entre otros, copias escaneadas de pasaportes de ciudadanos mexicanos, visas y otros documentos importantes, algunos de los cuales pertenec\u00edan a diplom\u00e1ticos. Se informa que inicialmente @0x55Taylor intent\u00f3 establecer contacto con los diplom\u00e1ticos mexicanos, pero no recibi\u00f3 respuesta. La filtraci\u00f3n de datos personales en Internet puede tener consecuencias desagradables relacionadas con la divulgaci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n confidencial de las personas cuyos documentos fueron robados.  <\/p>\n
