Los desarrolladores de Google han presentado un nuevo proyecto, en el marco del cual se ha creado una tecnolog\u00eda capaz de traducir frases orales de un idioma a otro. La principal diferencia del nuevo traductor llamado Translatotron en comparaci\u00f3n con sus hom\u00f3logos es que funciona exclusivamente con sonido, sin utilizar texto intermedio. Este enfoque ha permitido acelerar significativamente el trabajo del traductor. Otro aspecto notable es que el sistema imita con bastante precisi\u00f3n la frecuencia y el tono del hablante.<\/p>\n

La creaci\u00f3n de Translatotron fue posible gracias a un trabajo continuo que dur\u00f3 varios a\u00f1os. Los investigadores de la empresa Google consideraron durante mucho tiempo la posibilidad de transformar el discurso de manera directa, pero hasta hace poco no hab\u00eda sido posible realizar lo planeado.<\/p>\n

En esta etapa, Translatotron no puede presumir de tener la misma alta precisi\u00f3n en las traducciones que los sistemas est\u00e1ndar. Sin embargo, los investigadores afirman que la mayor\u00eda de las traducciones realizadas son lo suficientemente de calidad. En el futuro, se continuar\u00e1 trabajando en Translatotron, ya que los investigadores tienen la intenci\u00f3n de mejorar la calidad de la traducci\u00f3n de voz en tiempo real.<\/p>\n
