El sistema permite transferir mensualidades fijas a aquellos desarrolladores que se han registrado como participantes. A los patrocinadores se les prometen privilegios como la correcci\u00f3n prioritaria de errores. Adem\u00e1s, GitHub no cobrar\u00e1 una comisi\u00f3n por la intermediaci\u00f3n y, durante el primer a\u00f1o, cubrir\u00e1 los gastos de transacciones. Sin embargo, no se descarta que en el futuro se introduzcan tarifas por el procesamiento de pagos. La parte financiera ser\u00e1 manejada por el fondo GitHub Sponsors Matching Fund.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s de un nuevo esquema de monetizaci\u00f3n, GitHub ha lanzado un servicio para garantizar la seguridad de los proyectos. Este sistema est\u00e1 basado en el trabajo realizado por la empresa Dependabot y verifica autom\u00e1ticamente el c\u00f3digo en los repositorios en busca de vulnerabilidades. En caso de detectar una brecha, el sistema informar\u00e1 a los desarrolladores y crear\u00e1 autom\u00e1ticamente solicitudes de extracci\u00f3n para corregirlo.<\/p>\n

Finalmente, ha aparecido un esc\u00e1ner de tokens y claves de acceso que verifica los datos durante el commit. Si alguna clave se identifica como comprometida, se env\u00eda una solicitud a los proveedores de servicios para confirmar la filtraci\u00f3n. Entre los servicios disponibles se encuentran Alibaba Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, GitHub, Google Cloud, Mailgun, Slack, Stripe y Twilio.<\/p>\n
