En la actualizaci\u00f3n de correcci\u00f3n del n\u00facleo Linux 5.1.5<\/a><\/noindex> corregido<\/a><\/noindex> un problema en el subsistema DM (Device Mapper), que puede conducir<\/a><\/noindex> a la p\u00e9rdida de datos en unidades SSD. El problema comenz\u00f3 a manifestarse despu\u00e9s de cambios<\/a><\/noindex>, introducido en el n\u00facleo en enero de este a\u00f1o, afecta solo a la rama 5.1 y en la mayor\u00eda de los casos se presenta en sistemas con unidades SSD Samsung, en las que se aplica cifrado de datos utilizando dm-crypt\/LUKS sobre device-mapper\/LVM. <\/p>\n

La causa del problema es<\/a><\/noindex> es el marcado demasiado agresivo de los bloques liberados a trav\u00e9s de FSTRIM (demasiados sectores marcados a la vez, sin tener en cuenta el l\u00edmite max_io_len_target_boundary). En las distribuciones que ofrecen el n\u00facleo 5.1, el error ya se ha corregido en Fedora<\/a><\/noindex>, pero a\u00fan no se ha solucionado en ArchLinux<\/a><\/noindex> (la correcci\u00f3n est\u00e1 disponible, pero actualmente se encuentra en la rama «testing»). Como soluci\u00f3n alternativa, se sugiere desactivar el servicio fstrim.service\/timer, renombrar temporalmente el archivo ejecutable fstrim, excluir la opci\u00f3n «discard» de las opciones de montaje en fstab y desactivar el modo «allow-discards» en LUKS mediante dmsetup.<\/p>\n
