Publicado<\/a><\/noindex> actualizaciones correctivas de las ramas estables del servidor DNS BIND 9.14.3, 9.11.8 y 9.12.4-P2, as\u00ed como de la rama experimental en desarrollo 9.15.1. Al mismo tiempo, se ha anunciado la interrupci\u00f3n del soporte adicional para la rama 9.12, para la cual no se lanzar\u00e1n m\u00e1s actualizaciones. <\/p>\n

Las actualizaciones son notables por la eliminaci\u00f3n de una vulnerabilidad<\/a><\/noindex> (CVE-2019-6471<\/a><\/noindex>), que permite provocar una denegaci\u00f3n de servicio (terminaci\u00f3n del proceso con la afirmaci\u00f3n REQUIRE). El problema es causado por una condici\u00f3n de carrera que ocurre al procesar una gran cantidad de paquetes de entrada especialmente dise\u00f1ados que son filtrados. Para explotar la vulnerabilidad, el atacante debe enviar a la resolver de la v\u00edctima un gran n\u00famero de solicitudes que provocan llamadas al servidor DNS del atacante, el cual devuelve respuestas incorrectas.<\/p>\n
