Empresa Cisco ha presentado<\/a><\/noindex> actualizaci\u00f3n correctiva del paquete antivirus gratuito ClamAV 0.101.3, en la cual se ha solucionado una vulnerabilidad que permite iniciar una denegaci\u00f3n de servicio mediante el env\u00edo en un archivo adjunto de un archivo zip especialmente dise\u00f1ado. <\/p>\n

Problema<\/a><\/noindex> es una variante bomba zip no recursiva<\/a><\/noindex>, cuya descompresi\u00f3n requiere mucho tiempo y recursos. La esencia del m\u00e9todo radica en incluir en el archivo datos que permiten alcanzar la m\u00e1xima compresi\u00f3n posible para el formato zip \u2014 aproximadamente 28 millones de veces. Por ejemplo, un archivo zip preparado de 10 Mb resultar\u00e1 en la descompresi\u00f3n de aproximadamente 281 Tb de datos, mientras que uno de 46 Mb \u2014 4.5 Pb. <\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, en esta nueva versi\u00f3n se ha actualizado la biblioteca incorporada libmspack, en la cual se ha solucionado<\/a><\/noindex> hay una vulnerabilidad de desbordamiento de b\u00fafer (CVE-2019-1010305<\/a><\/noindex>), lo que provoca una filtraci\u00f3n de datos al abrir un archivo chm dise\u00f1ado especialmente.<\/p>\n

Al mismo tiempo se ha presentado una versi\u00f3n beta de la nueva rama ClamAV 0.102, en la cual la funcionalidad de escaneo en tiempo real de archivos abiertos (on-access scanning) ha sido trasladada de clamd a un proceso separado clamonacc, implementado de manera similar a clamdscan y clamav-milter. Este cambio ha permitido que clamd funcione bajo un usuario normal sin necesidad de privilegios de root.
\nEn esta nueva rama tambi\u00e9n se ha a\u00f1adido soporte para archivos egg (ESTsoft) y se ha reestructurado significativamente el programa freshclam, que ahora cuenta con soporte para HTTPS y la posibilidad de trabajar con espejos que manejan solicitudes en puertos de red diferentes al 80. <\/p>\n
