En el blog de la empresa Avast se publicaron<\/a><\/noindex> Resultados del estudio de los permisos solicitados por las aplicaciones de linterna implementadas en la plataforma Android en el cat\u00e1logo de Google Play. En total, se encontraron 937 linternas, de las cuales en siete se identificaron elementos de actividad maliciosa o no deseada, mientras que el resto puede considerarse \"limpio\". 408 aplicaciones solicitaban 10 permisos o menos, y en 262 aplicaciones se requer\u00eda el consentimiento para proporcionar 50 o m\u00e1s permisos. <\/p>\n

10 aplicaciones solicitaron entre 68 y 77 permisos, de las cuales cuatro fueron descargadas m\u00e1s de un mill\u00f3n de veces, dos alrededor de 500 mil veces y cuatro alrededor de 100 mil veces.<\/p>\n

Al analizar qu\u00e9 permisos solicitan las aplicaciones con la funcionalidad declarada de linterna (no como una funci\u00f3n secundaria, sino aplicaciones que se posicionan principalmente solo como linterna), se encontr\u00f3 que 77 aplicaciones solicitan la funci\u00f3n de grabaci\u00f3n de sonido, 180 requieren la lectura de datos de la agenda de contactos, 21 \u2014 acceso para escribir en la agenda de contactos, 180 \u2014 posibilidad de realizar llamadas, 131 \u2014 acceso a la ubicaci\u00f3n precisa, 63 \u2014 responder a llamadas, 92 \u2014 realizar llamadas, 82 \u2014 recibir SMS, 24 \u2014 cargar datos sin notificaci\u00f3n. <\/p>\n

282 programas requieren acceso a la funci\u00f3n de finalizaci\u00f3n forzada de procesos en segundo plano (se asume que esta capacidad se utiliza para terminar procesos y reducir el consumo de energ\u00eda). En realidad, para el funcionamiento de la linterna, solo se necesita acceso al LED de la c\u00e1mara y, opcionalmente, la capacidad de evitar que el dispositivo entre en modo de suspensi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Como ejemplo, se analiz\u00f3 una aplicaci\u00f3n t\u00edpica de linterna, en la que se declar\u00f3 \u00fanicamente la funci\u00f3n de linterna y se mencion\u00f3 que la aplicaci\u00f3n no requiere permisos adicionales. Sin embargo, el programa solicita 61 permisos, incluyendo la capacidad de realizar llamadas, leer la agenda, determinar la ubicaci\u00f3n, usar Bluetooth, gestionar el estado de la conexi\u00f3n de red, obtener la lista de aplicaciones instaladas, leer y escribir en el almacenamiento externo.<\/p>\n
