El c\u00f3digo del proyecto est\u00e1 escrito en C y <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/gitlab.com\/fetchmail\/fetchmail\/\">se distribuye<\/a><\/noindex> bajo la licencia GPLv2. El soporte para la rama fetchmail 6.3.X se ha descontinuado por completo.<\/p>\n<p>Entre <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/fetchmail\/files\/branch_6.4\/\">cambios<\/a><\/noindex>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Se ha a\u00f1adido soporte para TLS 1.1, 1.2 y 1.3 (&#8212;sslproto {tls1.1+|tls1.2+|tls1.3+}). La compilaci\u00f3n con OpenSSL est\u00e1 habilitada por defecto (se requiere al menos la rama 1.0.2, y para TLSv1.3, 1.1.1). Se ha dejado de soportar SSLv2. Por defecto, en STLS\/STARTTLS se declara TLSv1.1 en lugar de SSLv3 y TLSv1.0. Para volver a SSLv3, se debe utilizar OpenSSL con soporte para SSLv3 y ejecutar fetchmail con la opci\u00f3n &#171;&#8212;sslproto ssl3+&#187;.\n<li class=\"l\"> Por defecto, el modo de verificaci\u00f3n de certificados SSL est\u00e1 habilitado (&#8212;sslcertck). Ahora se requiere un compilador que soporte el est\u00e1ndar SUSv3 lanzado en 2002 (Single Unix Specification v3, un subconjunto de POSIX.1-2001 con extensiones XSI);\n<li class=\"l\"> Se ha incrementado la eficiencia del seguimiento de UID (modo &#171;&#8212;keep UID&#187;) en la distribuci\u00f3n de mensajes desde el buz\u00f3n por POP3;\n<li class=\"l\"> Se han realizado numerosas mejoras relacionadas con el soporte de conexiones cifradas;\n<li class=\"l\"> Se ha corregido una vulnerabilidad que podr\u00eda llevar a un desbordamiento de b\u00fafer en el c\u00f3digo de autenticaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de GSSAPI al manipular nombres de usuario cuya longitud exceda los 6000 caracteres.\n<\/ul>\n<p>Adici\u00f3n: <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\"
