La empresa Microsoft lanz\u00f3<\/a><\/noindex> su servicio Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD), que permite utilizar Windows en una m\u00e1quina virtual de Azure. La idea del \"escritorio virtual\" desarrolla, en esencia, la tendencia popular de los servicios de streaming de juegos y videos, donde el cliente solo necesita un terminal de bajo rendimiento y acceso a Internet.<\/p>\n

Como se menciona, el proyecto se lanz\u00f3 inmediatamente en todo el mundo. Al utilizar Windows Virtual Desktop, se rastrear\u00e1 la ubicaci\u00f3n del usuario para que el procesamiento de datos se realice en el centro de datos m\u00e1s cercano a \u00e9l.<\/p>\n

Inicialmente se planeaba que el lanzamiento se llevara a cabo en los EE.UU., y luego se ir\u00edan conectando otros pa\u00edses de manera gradual. Tambi\u00e9n se menciona que las empresas pueden acceder a Windows 10 Enterprise y Windows 7 Enterprise en WVD sin costos adicionales de licenciamiento (aunque deber\u00e1n pagar por el uso de Azure), si cuentan con la licencia correspondiente de Windows 10 Enterprise o Microsoft 365.<\/p>\n
