El proyecto permitir\u00e1 integrar en Firefox un motor de traducci\u00f3n aut\u00f3nomo que no recurra a servicios externos en la nube y procese los datos exclusivamente en el sistema del usuario. El principal objetivo de este desarrollo es garantizar la privacidad y proteger los datos del usuario de posibles filtraciones durante la traducci\u00f3n del contenido de las p\u00e1ginas abiertas en el navegador.<\/p>\n<p>El desarrollo de Bergamot se lleva a cabo en la oficina de Mozilla en Berl\u00edn con la participaci\u00f3n de investigadores de <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/browser.mt\/partners\/\">varios<\/a><\/noindex> universidades del Reino Unido, Estonia y Chequia. El desarrollo es financiado por la Uni\u00f3n Europea bajo una subvenci\u00f3n obtenida a trav\u00e9s del programa <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/programmes\/horizon2020\/en\">Horizon 2020<\/a><\/noindex>. La cuant\u00eda de la subvenci\u00f3n es de tres millones de euros. El proyecto est\u00e1 previsto para tres a\u00f1os. En Mozilla <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/triagegirl\/status\/1184988341923540993\">se ha abierto<\/a><\/noindex>  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/careers.mozilla.org\/position\/gh\/1666741\/\">una vacante<\/a><\/noindex> para un especialista en sistemas de aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico que participe en el desarrollo de un motor para la traducci\u00f3n de un idioma a otro.<\/p>\n<p>Entre los desarrollos relacionados con el proyecto Bergamot, <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/browser.mt\/software\">se mencionan<\/a><\/noindex>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> el marco de traducci\u00f3n autom\u00e1tica desarrollado en la Universidad de Edimburgo <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/marian-nmt.github.io\/\">Marian<\/a><\/noindex>, construido sobre la base de una red neuronal recurrente. El marco est\u00e1 escrito en C++, puede utilizar GPU para acelerar el aprendizaje y la traducci\u00f3n, y <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/marian-nmt\/marian\">se entrega<\/a><\/noindex> bajo licencia MIT.\n<li class=\"l\"> la herramienta creada en la Universidad de Praga <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/ufal\/neuralmonkey\">Neural Monkey<\/a><\/noindex> para procesar informaci\u00f3n en lenguaje natural utilizando m\u00e9todos de aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico secuencial. El proyecto aplica el marco TensorFlow y puede usarse para crear prototipos r\u00e1pidos de sistemas de traducci\u00f3n autom\u00e1tica y clasificaci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n en lenguaje natural. El c\u00f3digo est\u00e1 disponible bajo la licencia BSD.\n<li class=\"l\"> El proyecto preparado en la Universidad de Sheffield <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/ghpaetzold\/questplusplus\">QuEst++<\/a><\/noindex>, utilizado para evaluar y predecir la calidad de los sistemas de traducci\u00f3n autom\u00e1tica.\n<li class=\"l\"> Los desarrollos en Mozilla  <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=49639\">el sintetizador de voz<\/a><\/noindex>  (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/mozilla\/TTS\">TTS<\/a><\/noindex>) y <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=47648\">el motor de reconocimiento de voz<\/a><\/noindex> (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/mozilla\/DeepSpeech\">Deep Speech<\/a><\/noindex>)\n<li class=\"l\"> El proyecto financiado por la Uni\u00f3n Europea <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/paracrawl.eu\/\">ParaCrawl<\/a><\/noindex>, que acumula una base de traducciones simult\u00e1neas de diversas frases en diferentes idiomas, que se pueden usar para entrenar sistemas de aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico. La base del proyecto es un bot <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/bitextor\/\">bitextor<\/a><\/noindex>, que indexa sitios web multiling\u00fces y encuentra autom\u00e1ticamente textos id\u00e9nticos presentados en varios idiomas. La base de ejemplos de traducciones paralelas se est\u00e1 formando para 24 idiomas, incluido el ruso (<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/paracrawl.eu\/releases.html\">BD<\/a><\/noindex> para el idioma ruso ocupa 637MB en formato comprimido e incluye m\u00e1s de 12 millones de ejemplos de traducci\u00f3n).\n<\/ul>\n<p>El desarrollo de Bergamot comenz\u00f3 en enero de este a\u00f1o, pero los avances del proyecto a\u00fan <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/browser.mt\/software\">no est\u00e1n disponibles<\/a><\/noindex> para pruebas p\u00fablicas. El mecanismo de traducci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n admite la detecci\u00f3n autom\u00e1tica del idioma al abrir una p\u00e1gina en un idioma desconocido y muestra un indicador especial que sugiere realizar la traducci\u00f3n de la p\u00e1gina. El prototipo del sistema de traducci\u00f3n desarrollado en el marco del proyecto Bergamot utiliza esta misma interfaz para interactuar con el usuario, pero en lugar de recurrir a servicios externos,
