Certbot tambi\u00e9n puede funcionar como software cliente para interactuar con diversas autoridades certificadoras que utilizan el protocolo ACME. Certbot permite no solo automatizar la obtenci\u00f3n y renovaci\u00f3n de certificados, sino tambi\u00e9n generar configuraciones listas para implementar HTTPS en Apache httpd, nginx y haproxy en entornos de varias distribuciones de Linux y sistemas BSD, as\u00ed como para redirigir las solicitudes de HTTP a HTTPS.
