Los especialistas de «Laboratorio Kaspersky» han detectado una serie de ataques cibern\u00e9ticos dirigidos a empresas de telecomunicaciones y financieras en Europa del Este y Asia Central. En el marco de esta campa\u00f1a, los delincuentes intentaron apoderarse de fondos y datos financieros de las v\u00edctimas. El informe menciona que los hackers intentaron sustraer decenas de millones de d\u00f3lares de las cuentas de las empresas atacadas.<\/p>\n

En cada uno de los casos documentados, los hackers utilizaron una t\u00e9cnica, explotando una vulnerabilidad en las VPN<\/a>-soluciones corporativas que eran utilizadas en las empresas atacadas. Los delincuentes aprovecharon la vulnerabilidad CVE-2019-11510, cuyos herramientas de explotaci\u00f3n se pueden encontrar en Internet. Esta vulnerabilidad permite acceder a los datos de las cuentas de los administradores de redes corporativas, lo que facilita el acceso a informaci\u00f3n valiosa.<\/p>\n

En el informe se indica que los cibergrupos no utilizaron esta vulnerabilidad. Los especialistas de «Laboratorio Kaspersky» consideran que la serie de ataques a empresas financieras y de telecomunicaciones est\u00e1 relacionada con hackers de habla rusa. Llegaron a esta conclusi\u00f3n tras analizar la t\u00e9cnica utilizada por los delincuentes para llevar a cabo los ataques.<\/p>\n

«A pesar de que la vulnerabilidad fue detectada en primavera de 2019, muchas empresas a\u00fan no han instalado la actualizaci\u00f3n necesaria. Dada la disponibilidad del exploit, tales ataques podr\u00edan adquirir un car\u00e1cter masivo. Por ello, recomendamos encarecidamente a las empresas que instalen las versiones m\u00e1s recientes de las soluciones VPN que utilizan», declar\u00f3 el principal experto antivirus de «Laboratorio Kaspersky», Sergey Golovanov.<\/p>\n
