Los investigadores de Exodus Intelligence demostraron<\/a><\/noindex> han identificado un punto d\u00e9bil en el proceso de correcci\u00f3n de vulnerabilidades en la base de c\u00f3digo de Chrome\/Chromium. El problema radica en que Google revela informaci\u00f3n sobre las correcciones relacionadas con problemas de seguridad solo despu\u00e9s del lanzamiento, pero
\nagrega al repositorio c\u00f3digo para solucionar la vulnerabilidad en el motor V8 antes de la publicaci\u00f3n del lanzamiento. Durante alg\u00fan tiempo, las correcciones se someten a pruebas, creando un per\u00edodo en el que la vulnerabilidad es corregida en la base de c\u00f3digo y est\u00e1 disponible para su an\u00e1lisis, pero la vulnerabilidad permanece sin corregir en los sistemas de los usuarios. <\/p>\n

Al estudiar los cambios realizados en el repositorio, los investigadores notaron la adici\u00f3n del 19 de febrero la correcci\u00f3n<\/a><\/noindex> y en un plazo de tres d\u00edas pudieron preparar exploit<\/a><\/noindex>, un exploit que afecta las versiones actuales de Chrome (el exploit publicado no inclu\u00eda componentes para eludir el aislamiento de sandbox).
