El objetivo es facilitar la comunicaci\u00f3n y el intercambio de contenido entre los desarrolladores de la distribuci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Debian<\/strong> \u2014 un sistema operativo compuesto de software libre con c\u00f3digo abierto. Actualmente <strong>Debian GNU\/Linux<\/strong> \u2014 una de las distribuciones m\u00e1s populares e importantes de GNU\/Linux, que en su forma primaria ha tenido un impacto significativo en el desarrollo de este tipo de sistemas operativos en general. Tambi\u00e9n existen proyectos basados en otro n\u00facleo: <strong>Debian GNU\/Hurd<\/strong>. Debian puede utilizarse como sistema operativo tanto para servidores como para estaciones de trabajo.<\/p>\n<p>Debian cuenta con el mayor repositorio de paquetes de todas las distribuciones \u2014 programas y bibliotecas listos para usar \u2014 y si no es por su n\u00famero, entonces por el n\u00famero de arquitecturas soportadas: desde ARM, utilizada en dispositivos embebidos, pasando por las m\u00e1s populares x86-64 y PowerPC, hasta IBM S\/390, utilizada en mainframes. Se han desarrollado diversas herramientas para trabajar con el repositorio, la m\u00e1s popular de las cuales es el Advanced Packaging Tool (APT).<\/p>\n<p>Debian se ha convertido en la base de una serie de distribuciones. Las m\u00e1s conocidas son Knoppix, Linux Mint, Maemo, SteamOS, TAILS y Ubuntu.<\/p>\n<p>El nombre \"Debian\" se compone de los nombres del fundador del proyecto, Ian Murdock, y su esposa, Debra Lynn.<\/p>\n<p>En el marco del programa se han lanzado los siguientes servicios:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<noindex><\/p>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/pleroma.debian.social\/\">pleroma.debian.social<\/a> \u2014 plataforma de microblogging descentralizada basada en Pleroma<\/li>\n<p><\/noindex><\/p>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/pixelfed.debian.social\/\">pixelfed.debian.social<\/a> \u2014 plataforma para compartir fotograf\u00edas<\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/peertube.debian.social\/\">peertube.debian.social<\/a> \u2014 plataforma descentralizada para alojamiento de videos<\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/jitsi.debian.social\/\">jitsi.debian.social<\/a> \u2014 servicio para realizar videoconferencias web<\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.debian.social\/\">wordpress.debian.social<\/a> \u2014 plataforma para blogs de desarrolladores<\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/writefreely.debian.social\/\">writefreely<\/a> \u2014 plataforma descentralizada para la creaci\u00f3n de blogs y notas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>En el futuro se tiene previsto implementar un sistema <strong>de mensajer\u00eda en Mattermost<\/strong>, basado en Matrix, y un servicio <strong>de intercambio de archivos de audio<\/strong> basado en <strong>Funkwhale<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Es importante notar que muchas de las soluciones utilizadas son federativas y soportan la integraci\u00f3n mutua. Por ejemplo, a trav\u00e9s de una cuenta en Pleroma es posible recibir notificaciones sobre nuevos videos en Peertube o im\u00e1genes en Pixelfed.<\/p>\n<p>Para crear una cuenta en los servicios, es necesario presentar una solicitud en salsa.debian.org, por supuesto, siempre que ya se tenga una cuenta all\u00ed.
