Desarrollador de soluciones antivirus \u00abDoctor Web\u00bb informa<\/a><\/noindex> sobre el descubrimiento de un peligroso backdoor, distribuido por delincuentes bajo la apariencia de una actualizaci\u00f3n para el popular navegador Google Chrome. Se informa que m\u00e1s de 2,000 personas ya han sido v\u00edctimas de los cibercriminales, y el n\u00famero contin\u00faa creciendo.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan el laboratorio de virus \u00abDoctor Web\u00bb, los delincuentes han utilizado recursos basados en CMS WordPress \u2014 desde blogs de noticias hasta portales corporativos \u2014 para maximizar su alcance, logrando acceso administrativo por parte de los hackers. En el c\u00f3digo de las p\u00e1ginas comprometidas se ha insertado un script JavaScript que redirige a los usuarios a un sitio de phishing que se hace pasar por el recurso oficial de la empresa Google (ver captura de pantalla arriba).<\/p>\n

Con la ayuda de un backdoor, los delincuentes pueden entregar carga \u00ab\u00fatil\u00bb en forma de aplicaciones maliciosas a los dispositivos infectados. Entre ellas se encuentran: el keylogger X-Key Keylogger, el stealer Predator The Thief y un troyano para control remoto a trav\u00e9s del protocolo RDP.<\/p>\n

Para evitar incidentes desagradables, los especialistas de la empresa \u00abDoctor Web\u00bb recomiendan estar extremadamente atentos al navegar por Internet y aconsejan no ignorar el filtro de sitios de phishing disponible en muchos navegadores modernos.<\/p>\n
