La empresa Mozilla ha anunciado el inicio de las pruebas de un nuevo servicio llamado Private Relay, que genera direcciones temporales de correo electr\u00f3nico. Estas direcciones son \u00fatiles, por ejemplo, para registrarse en sitios web. Gracias a ello, los usuarios no tendr\u00e1n que proporcionar su direcci\u00f3n de correo electr\u00f3nico real, lo que les permitir\u00e1 deshacerse del spam y de numerosos mensajes publicitarios.<\/p>\n

Para interactuar con el servicio Private Relay, ser\u00e1 necesario instalar la correspondiente extensi\u00f3n para el navegador Mozilla Firefox. Esta extensi\u00f3n permitir\u00e1 generar direcciones de correo electr\u00f3nico \u00fanicas con solo pulsar un bot\u00f3n. La direcci\u00f3n creada de esta manera puede utilizarse para registrarse en sitios, para suscribirse a boletines informativos y promocionales, entre otros.<\/p>\n

\u00abEstaremos reenviando correos desde una direcci\u00f3n de correo electr\u00f3nico generada a la direcci\u00f3n real del usuario. Si alguna de las direcciones generadas comienza a recibir correo no deseado, podr\u00e1 bloquearla o eliminarla por completo\u00bb \u2014 se lee en el mensaje de Mozilla.<\/p>\n

La idea de un servicio para crear direcciones de correo temporal no es algo nuevo. Con Private Relay, los desarrolladores esperan ofrecer a los usuarios una soluci\u00f3n sencilla mediante la cual se pueden crear y eliminar direcciones de correo temporales con facilidad. Cabe destacar que Mozilla no es la primera gran empresa tecnol\u00f3gica en desarrollar esta \u00e1rea. Anteriormente, Apple anunci\u00f3 la creaci\u00f3n de un servicio similar.<\/p>\n
