Recientemente, Eurostat public\u00f3<\/a><\/noindex> resultados de la encuesta a los ciudadanos de los pa\u00edses miembros de la uni\u00f3n sobre la existencia de habilidades \u00abdigitales\u00bb. La encuesta se llev\u00f3 a cabo en 2019, antes de toda esta historia con la pandemia del coronavirus. Pero eso no reduce su valor, ya que es mejor prepararse para los problemas con antelaci\u00f3n y, como han descubierto los funcionarios europeos, la presencia de ni\u00f1os en la familia aument\u00f3 las habilidades digitales de los adultos.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed, en 2019, en la Uni\u00f3n Europea (UE), el 64 % de los ciudadanos de entre 16 y 74 a\u00f1os con hijos menores de 16 a\u00f1os ten\u00eda un nivel b\u00e1sico o superior de habilidades en el uso de tecnolog\u00edas digitales. Esto es un 1 % m\u00e1s que en 2017 y un 3 % m\u00e1s que en 2015. El 28 % de los ciudadanos de la misma franja de edad, que tambi\u00e9n ten\u00edan ni\u00f1os menores de 16 a\u00f1os, reportaron bajas habilidades en tecnolog\u00edas digitales.<\/p>\n

El porcentaje de personas con \u00abconocimientos b\u00e1sicos\u00bb en TI, en familias sin hijos, result\u00f3 ser un 11 % m\u00e1s bajo (53 % en total) que el de aquellos que viv\u00edan con ni\u00f1os. Probablemente, no hab\u00eda nadie que recogiera palabritas inteligentes para impresionar en la encuesta. Hablando en serio, la presencia de ni\u00f1os lleva a los ciudadanos a demostrar cierto nivel de actividad en Internet y a aprender a usar dispositivos.<\/p>\n

Entre los estados miembros de la UE, Finlandia ten\u00eda la mayor proporci\u00f3n de personas de entre 16 y 74 a\u00f1os que viv\u00edan en hogares con ni\u00f1os menores de 16 a\u00f1os y que informaron tener habilidades generales b\u00e1sicas o superiores en el uso de tecnolog\u00edas digitales (88 %). Le siguen los Pa\u00edses Bajos (83 %), Suecia (81 %), Alemania y Estonia (cada una con un 80 %).<\/p>\n

Los valores m\u00e1s bajos se observaron en Bulgaria (32 %), Ruman\u00eda (34 %), Italia (45 %), Chipre (54 %) y Polonia (55 %).
