En la biblioteca GnuTLS, que se utiliza de forma predeterminada en muchos paquetes de Debian, incluyendo el gestor de paquetes APT y muchas utilidades, se ha detectado<\/a><\/noindex> vulnerabilidad<\/a><\/noindex> (CVE-2020-13777<\/a><\/noindex>), que permite reanudar una sesi\u00f3n TLS previamente detenida sin conocer la clave de sesi\u00f3n. Desde un punto de vista pr\u00e1ctico, la vulnerabilidad puede ser utilizada para realizar ataques MITM. <\/p>\n

La vulnerabilidad es causada por una construcci\u00f3n incorrecta de la clave de sesi\u00f3n del ticket \u2012 el servidor TLS no ligaba la clave de cifrado de sesi\u00f3n con el valor proporcionado por la aplicaci\u00f3n. Hasta la primera rotaci\u00f3n de la clave, el servidor TLS, al formar claves de sesi\u00f3n, contin\u00faa utilizando datos incorrectos en lugar de la clave de cifrado recibida de la aplicaci\u00f3n, lo que permite a un atacante eludir la autenticaci\u00f3n en TLS 1.3 y reanudar sesiones anteriores en modo TLS 1.2.<\/p>\n

Vulnerabilidad se solucion\u00f3<\/a><\/noindex> en la versi\u00f3n 3.6.14, que tambi\u00e9n solucion\u00f3 problemas<\/a><\/noindex> con el manejo de certificados cruzados, surgidos despu\u00e9s del vencimiento del certificado ra\u00edz AddTrust. El problema se manifiesta a partir de la versi\u00f3n 3.6.4 (2018-09-24). En las distribuciones, la vulnerabilidad se ha solucionado en Debian<\/a><\/noindex>, SUSE<\/a><\/noindex>, FreeBSD<\/a><\/noindex>, Fedora<\/a><\/noindex>, Ubuntu<\/a><\/noindex>, EPEL<\/a><\/noindex>, RHEL 8<\/a><\/noindex> (RHEL 6 y 7 no son vulnerables<\/a><\/noindex>).<\/p>\n
