Para PostgreSQL activar<\/a><\/noindex> la extensi\u00f3n AGE (AgensGraph-Extension) con implementaci\u00f3n del lenguaje de consultas openCypher<\/a><\/noindex> para manipular conjuntos de datos jer\u00e1rquicos interrelacionados que forman un grafo. En lugar de columnas y filas, las bases de datos orientadas a grafos utilizan una estructura similar a una red: se definen nodos, sus propiedades y las relaciones entre nodos. AGE se distribuye<\/a><\/noindex> bajo la licencia Apache 2.0, transferido por la empresa Bitnine bajo el patrocinio de la Fundaci\u00f3n Apache y actualmente en el incubador de Apache. <\/p>\n

El proyecto contin\u00faa desarrollando la base de datos AgensGraph<\/a><\/noindex>, que representa<\/a><\/noindex> es una modificaci\u00f3n reestructurada de PostgreSQL para el procesamiento de grafos. La principal diferencia es la implementaci\u00f3n de AGE como una extensi\u00f3n universal que funciona como un complemento sobre las versiones est\u00e1ndar de PostgreSQL. Es posible crear bases de datos multimodelo que combinan modelos de almacenamiento jer\u00e1rquico en forma de grafo, modelo relacional y modelo de almacenamiento de documentos en formato JSON. Se admite la ejecuci\u00f3n de consultas integradas que incluyen elementos de los lenguajes SQL y Cypher.
\nEst\u00e1 disponible la creaci\u00f3n de \u00edndices para propiedades de nodos y aristas del grafo.
