El sistema est\u00e1 destinado a resolver tareas como garantizar el funcionamiento del servicio de soporte t\u00e9cnico (help desk), gestionar las respuestas a las solicitudes de los clientes (llamadas telef\u00f3nicas, correos electr\u00f3nicos), coordinar la provisi\u00f3n de servicios de TI corporativos, y gestionar solicitudes en el departamento de ventas y en servicios financieros. El c\u00f3digo de OTOBO est\u00e1 escrito en Perl y <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/RotherOSS\/otobo\">se distribuye<\/a><\/noindex> bajo la licencia GPLv3.<\/p>\n<p>Stefan Rother, actualmente fundador y director general de Rother OSS, se uni\u00f3 a OTRS GmbH (hoy OTRS AG) en 2004. En 2011, fund\u00f3 su propia empresa Rother OSS. Para 2019, Rother OSS se hab\u00eda centrado en ofrecer servicios comerciales relacionados con las variantes de OTRS de c\u00f3digo abierto. En respuesta a la estrategia de lanzamiento cambiada de OTRS AG y la demora en la publicaci\u00f3n de nuevas versiones de OTRS Community Edition, Rother OSS comenz\u00f3 a desarrollar el sistema de tickets OTOBO (Open Ticket Ours Based Otrs) basado en OTRS versi\u00f3n 6. La propuesta de negocio de OTOBO consiste en apoyar a los usuarios comerciales, brindando consultor\u00eda y capacitaci\u00f3n. Para la instalaci\u00f3n <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/otobo.de\/en\/otobo-download\/\">est\u00e1 disponible<\/a><\/noindex> se ofrecen tanto paquetes de instalaci\u00f3n como im\u00e1genes de Docker. Tambi\u00e9n se ofrecen servicios de alojamiento.
