Presentado<\/a><\/noindex> lanzamiento significativo de la biblioteca libtorrent 2.0<\/a><\/noindex> (tambi\u00e9n conocido como libtorrent-rasterbar), que ofrece una implementaci\u00f3n del protocolo BitTorrent, eficiente en t\u00e9rminos de uso de memoria y carga de CPU. La biblioteca se ha implementado<\/a><\/noindex> en clientes torrent como Deluge<\/a><\/noindex>, qBittorrent<\/a><\/noindex>, Folx<\/a><\/noindex>, Lince<\/a><\/noindex>, Miro<\/a><\/noindex> y Flush<\/a><\/noindex> (no confundir con otra biblioteca libtorrent<\/a><\/noindex>, que se utiliza en rTorrent). El c\u00f3digo de libtorrent est\u00e1 escrito en C++ y se distribuye<\/a><\/noindex> bajo licencia BSD.<\/p>\n

El lanzamiento es notable la adici\u00f3n de<\/a><\/noindex> por el apoyo al protocolo BitTorrent v2<\/a><\/noindex>, en el que se ha abandonado el uso del algoritmo SHA-1, que tiene problemas<\/a><\/noindex> con la selecci\u00f3n de colisiones a favor de SHA2-256. SHA2-256 se aplica tanto para el control de integridad de los bloques de datos como para las entradas en los \u00edndices (info-dictionary), lo que compromete la compatibilidad con DHT y rastreadores. Para los enlaces magn\u00e9ticos a torrents con hashes SHA2-256 se ha propuesto un nuevo prefijo \u00aburn:btmh:\u00bb (para SHA-1 y torrents h\u00edbridos se utiliza \u00aburn:btih:\u00bb).<\/p>\n

Dado que el cambio en la funci\u00f3n de hashing rompe la compatibilidad del protocolo (un campo de hash de 32 bytes en lugar de 20 bytes), el desarrollo de la especificaci\u00f3n BitTorrent v2 se realiz\u00f3 inicialmente sin tener en cuenta la compatibilidad hacia atr\u00e1s y se incorporaron otros cambios significativos, como el uso de \u00e1rboles de hash Merkle en los \u00edndices para reducir el tama\u00f1o de los archivos torrent y verificar los datos descargados a nivel de bloques.<\/p>\n

Entre los cambios en BitTorrent v2 tambi\u00e9n se destaca la transici\u00f3n a vincular \u00e1rboles de hash separados a cada archivo y la aplicaci\u00f3n de la alineaci\u00f3n de archivos por partes (sin adici\u00f3n de relleno adicional despu\u00e9s de cada archivo), lo que permite eliminar la duplicaci\u00f3n de datos en archivos id\u00e9nticos y simplifica la identificaci\u00f3n de diferentes fuentes para archivos. Se ha mejorado la eficiencia de la codificaci\u00f3n de la estructura de directorios en el torrent y se han a\u00f1adido optimizaciones para manejar un gran n\u00famero de archivos peque\u00f1os. <\/p>\n

Para suavizar la coexistencia de BitTorrent v1 y BitTorrent v2, se ha implementado la posibilidad de crear archivos torrent h\u00edbridos, que incluyen, adem\u00e1s de estructuras con hashes SHA-1, \u00edndices con SHA2-256.
\nEstos torrents h\u00edbridos pueden ser utilizados con clientes que solo soportan el protocolo BitTorrent v1. El soporte esperado en libtorrent 2.0 para el protocolo WebTorrent, debido a problemas no resueltos de estabilidad se ha pospuesto<\/a><\/noindex> hasta el pr\u00f3ximo lanzamiento significativo, que no se har\u00e1 antes de finales de a\u00f1o. <\/p>\n
