Se ha publicado la versi\u00f3n beta de la distribuci\u00f3n openSUSE Leap 15.3, formada a partir del conjunto base de paquetes de la distribuci\u00f3n SUSE Linux Enterprise, con algunas aplicaciones personalizadas del repositorio openSUSE Tumbleweed. Est\u00e1 disponible para descarga una imagen DVD universal de 4.3 GB (x86_64, aarch64, ppc64les, 390x). El lanzamiento de openSUSE Leap 15.3 se espera para julio de 2021. <\/p>\n

A diferencia de las versiones anteriores de openSUSE Leap, la versi\u00f3n 15.3 no se construy\u00f3 mediante la reconstrucci\u00f3n de los paquetes src de SUSE Linux Enterprise, sino utilizando un conjunto \u00fanico de paquetes binarios con SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 SP 3. Se espera que el uso de los mismos paquetes binarios en SUSE y openSUSE simplifique la migraci\u00f3n de una distribuci\u00f3n a otra, ahorre recursos en la construcci\u00f3n de paquetes, distribuci\u00f3n de actualizaciones y pruebas, unifique las diferencias en los archivos spec y permita evitar la diagn\u00f3stico de diferentes construcciones de paquetes al analizar los mensajes de error.
