Se han publicado versiones corregidas del sistema distribuido de control de versiones Git 2.30.2, 2.17.6, 2.18.5, 2.19.6, 2.20.5, 2.21.4, 2.22.5, 2.23.4, 2.24.4, 2.25.5, 2.26.3, 2.27.1, 2.28.1 y 2.29.3, en las cuales se ha solucionado una vulnerabilidad (CVE-2021-21300) que permite la ejecuci\u00f3n remota de c\u00f3digo al clonar un repositorio de un atacante utilizando el comando \u00abgit clone\u00bb. Todas las versiones de Git, desde la 2.15, son vulnerables. <\/p>\n

El problema se presenta al utilizar operaciones de checkout diferidas, que se aplican en algunos filtros de limpieza, como los configurables en Git LFS. La explotaci\u00f3n de la vulnerabilidad solo es posible en sistemas de archivos que no distinguen entre may\u00fasculas y min\u00fasculas, pero que soportan enlaces simb\u00f3licos, como NTFS, HFS+ y APFS (es decir, en plataformas Windows y macOS). <\/p>\n

Como una soluci\u00f3n alternativa, se puede proteger desactivando el manejo de enlaces simb\u00f3licos en Git ejecutando \u00abgit config \u2014global core.symlinks false\u00bb, o desactivando el soporte para procesos de filtro usando el comando \u00abgit config \u2014show-scope \u2014get-regexp 'filter\\,.*\\.process'\u00bb.
