En el marco del proyecto Proton, los desarrolladores de Mozilla planean eliminar del men\u00fa de configuraci\u00f3n la opci\u00f3n de modo compacto de visualizaci\u00f3n de las barras (men\u00fa \u00abhamburguesa\u00bb en la barra -> Personalizar -> Densidad -> Compacto), dejando solo el modo normal y el modo para pantallas t\u00e1ctiles. En el modo compacto se utilizan botones de menor tama\u00f1o y se eliminan los espacios vac\u00edos alrededor de los elementos de las barras y del \u00e1rea de pesta\u00f1as para liberar espacio vertical adicional para el contenido. <\/p>\n

Como raz\u00f3n se menciona el deseo de simplificar la interfaz y ofrecer un dise\u00f1o que se adapte a la mayor\u00eda de los usuarios.
