Se ha publicado la versi\u00f3n 4MLinux 36.0, una distribuci\u00f3n de usuario minimalista, que no es un derivado de otros proyectos y utiliza un entorno gr\u00e1fico basado en JWM. 4MLinux se puede usar no solo como un entorno Live para reproducir archivos multimedia y resolver tareas de usuario, sino tambi\u00e9n como un sistema de recuperaci\u00f3n ante fallos y plataforma para ejecutar servidores LAMP (Linux, Apache, MariaDB y PHP). El tama\u00f1o de la imagen ISO es de 930 MB (i686, x86_64). <\/p>\n

En esta nueva versi\u00f3n se ha a\u00f1adido soporte para el protocolo NBD (Network Block Device). Se han incluido utilidades exfatprogs para trabajar con el sistema de archivos exFAT y se ha integrado soporte para exFAT en el editor de particiones GParted. Tambi\u00e9n se incluyen: el sistema de cifrado de particiones VeraCrypt, el programa para calcular sumas de verificaci\u00f3n GTkHash y la utilidad para crear LiveUSB UNetbootin. Se han eliminado del repositorio los paquetes relacionados con Flash Player. <\/p>\n

Se han actualizado el n\u00facleo de Linux 5.4.99, Mesa 20.3.1, LibreOffice 7.1.2, AbiWord 3.0.4, GIMP 2.10.22, Gnumeric 1.12.48, DropBox 114.4.426, Firefox 87.0, Chromium 88.0.4324.96, Thunderbird 78.9.0, Audacious 4.0.5, VLC 3.0.12, mpv 0.32.0, Wine 6.1, Apache 2.4.46, MariaDB 10.5.8, PHP 7.4.15, Perl 5.32.0, Python 2.7.18 y Python 3.8.6.
