La votaci\u00f3n durar\u00e1 dos semanas, hasta el 17 de abril.    <\/p>\n<p>Inicialmente, la votaci\u00f3n fue iniciada por el empleado de Canonical, Steve Langasek, quien propuso la ratificaci\u00f3n de la primera versi\u00f3n de la declaraci\u00f3n (exhortar a la renuncia de la junta directiva de la FSF y respaldar la carta abierta en contra de Stallman). Sin embargo, de acuerdo con el procedimiento de discusi\u00f3n p\u00fablica, los representantes de la comunidad de Debian propusieron opciones de declaraci\u00f3n alternativas:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Exhortar a la renuncia \u00fanicamente de Stallman.\n<li class=\"l\"> Limitar la interacci\u00f3n con la FSF mientras Stallman est\u00e9 al frente de la organizaci\u00f3n.\n<li class=\"l\"> Llamar a la FSF a aumentar la transparencia de los procesos de gesti\u00f3n (el grupo de iniciativa que present\u00f3 este punto afirma que hay 'falta de transparencia' y que se ignora la opini\u00f3n de la comunidad al reintegrar a Stallman).\n<li class=\"l\"> Apoyar el regreso de Stallman y, en nombre del proyecto, firmar una carta abierta en apoyo a Stallman.\n<li class=\"l\"> Condenar en\u00e9rgicamente la 'caza de brujas' llevada a cabo contra Richard Stallman, la junta directiva de la FSF y toda la organizaci\u00f3n en su conjunto.\n<li class=\"l\"> No publicar ninguna declaraci\u00f3n oficial respecto a la situaci\u00f3n con Stallman y la FSF.  <\/ul>\n<p>Adicionalmente, se puede se\u00f1alar que el n\u00famero de firmantes de la carta en apoyo a Stallman alcanz\u00f3 las 5593 firmas, mientras que la carta en contra de Stallman fue firmada por 3012 personas (alguien retir\u00f3 su firma, ya que el s\u00e1bado por la ma\u00f1ana eran 3013).
